THE TOP 5 MAKE UP TRENDS IN 2022
The beauty industry is always evolving and that means new trends are also coming up every now and then. We all love a good makeup trend, but it's always so fun to see what new products are being released and what new trends are emerging. While some of these trends are more popular than others, there are some that are worth trying out if you haven't already. So, if you have been thinking of trying something new in terms of your makeup routine, here's a list of the top-notch new make up trends that you should try out this year:
1. Contouring.
This is the art of highlighting and shading your face to create depth and dimension. It helps define the shape of your face by making it look slimmer or wider depending on what area you want to emphasize. Contouring can be done with powders as well as cream products like foundation or concealers. It is an easy way to add color to your face without looking too fake since it uses natural elements like shadows or blush instead of heavy foundations. You can use this technique by applying a light base shade all over your face, then using bronzer powder on the areas where you want to emphasize such as the temples and under the cheekbones. Next, use a small brush or sponge to apply lighter shades.
2. Smokey Eyes.
The latest and the most talked about is the smoky eye. It seems like everyone has been getting into this trend, from celebrities to everyday people. I personally love it because it makes my eyes stand out more than ever. There are so many different ways to achieve that smoky eye look, from a minimalistic approach to a full blown smokey eye. Whether you're looking for a natural look or something more dramatic, there are plenty of ways to achieve this look. Here are some of my favorite tips and tricks for achieving that smoky eye:

i. Use black shadow on your eyelids, brows, and cupid's bow for a dramatic effect.

ii. Apply black mascara on top of your eyelashes and blend it into the ends of your lashes with an eyeliner brush.

iii. Apply a brown shadow on the lower half of your lid and blend it out with a pencil brush so that it doesn't look too harsh or fake looking against all the other colors underneath it!

iv. Use a silver shimmery shadow over top of all that dark stuff so that it lights things up without being too obvious!

3. Graphic liners.

Graphic liners are a great way to add a pop of color to your face without having to go all out with bright red lipstick or orange-hued eyeshadow. They're easy to apply, so you can get started putting on makeup right away and they're also fun and quirky enough that they'll get you excited about the way your face looks in the morning. This graphic liner trend is perfect for people who want something simple but not totally basic; they come in different colors. If you've been using plain black or brown eyeliners, graphic eyeliners will give you an easy way to spice up your look again. They're also an easy way to test out different colors without committing to anything too bold.

4. Blush.
I like to use blush as a way to add color without making my face look too bright or shiny. It gives just enough warmth to the face without being too dramatic or gaudy looking. Blush looks good on all skin tones especially dark skinned and can be worn subtly or heavily depending on how much powder you want to apply over it.
5 Lip Lining (Overling).
Overlining your lips is the trend of the season. It's all the rage, and it's been a big hit with celebrities including Kylie Jenner. There are many different ways to overline your lips, but the most popular method is by applying a thin line of liquid lipstick, then drawing it upward with a lip liner pencil to give your lips a more natural look. You can also combine this technique with the use of lipstick so that you get a fuller look.
It is a technique through which it is possible to optically enlarge the lips (making them appear larger and plumped) simply using make-up, with a very natural volume "push-up" effect. The steps to make it happen? Few and simple: optimal hydration of the lips, apply a nude pencil slightly outside the contour to make them optically more volumized, and finally a touch of lipstick and gloss for a plump effect.

Bringing the article to a close, these are the top trends in make up in 2022. We hope this has ben helpful for you and if you're thinking about going out tonight and you're looking for a new way to spice up your make up routine, try one of these trends using yangabeauty products.
